qualified as a primary school teacher, Silvia Pool Maag studied Education,
Educational Special Needs and Psychology at the University of Zurich. She has
taught at primary and special needs school and as Lecturer in Education at
teacher training colleges in eastern and north-western Switzerland. Instructor
at the Vocational College for Disabled Care and project manager within the
Directorate for Education of the Canton of Zurich. Consultant at various higher
education colleges. Focal points of work and research include coaching in
vocational training, organisational and team development in the field of
education, evaluation studies, special needs in primary schools, leadership
responsibilities. Has published on the topics of coaching and integration.
